The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach through thematic and sentimental analysis of social media content, netizens' comments, and in-depth interviews with victims. The results of the study show that digital da'wah through short lectures, online studies, and religious commentary provides significant spiritual and psychological empowerment for victims to express their experiences openly. Islamic values such as justice ('adl), compassion (rahmah), and the invitation to reject tyranny are the basis for the courage of the victim to fight against the culture of silence. This research is useful to strengthen the role of contextual, empathetic, and transformative Islamic Education, as well as a foundation for the development of digital da'wah that is responsive to the social issues of the ummah.
Kartini Kartini Hasan Sazali Copyright (c) 2025 Cendekia 2025-08-07 2025-08-07 17 02 356 371 10.37850/cendekia.v17i02.1071 Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership Da'wah Management in Educating Teenagers About the Dangers of Promiscuity https://journal.faibillfath.ac.id/index.php/cendekia/article/view/1072
The purpose of this study is to examine how the Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah in Medan City manages its da'wah efforts in educating teenagers about the dangers of promiscuous behavior. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah Medan applies key functions of da'wah management, including planning programs based on youth needs, organizing through the optimization of autonomous organizations such as IPM, IMM, Pemuda Muhammadiyah, and NA, and mobilizing through training, social activities, and the use of social media. Control is implemented through comprehensive evaluations of program execution, materials, methods, and behavioral changes in youth after participating in da'wah activities. The impact of this da'wah management demonstrates its effectiveness in raising spiritual awareness, strengthening character, and fostering the moral resilience of youth amid the flow of permissive culture and digitalization. This research contributes significantly to the development of participatory da'wah models that can be adopted by other religious organizations in addressing contemporary moral challenges faced by youth.
Nurhaini Nurhaini Winda Kustiawan Copyright (c) 2025 Cendekia 2025-08-07 2025-08-07 17 02 372 386 10.37850/cendekia.v17i02.1072 Psychological Communication and Islamic Integration in Mental Health Education Via Instagram https://journal.faibillfath.ac.id/index.php/cendekia/article/view/1043
This study aims to analyze the application of communication psychology in the content and user interactions of the Instagram account @dinamisbiropsikologi in delivering mental health education integrated with Islamic values. The research employs a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. Data were obtained from six Instagram posts in 2025, selected purposively based on two main criteria: (1) themes relevant and engaging in the context of mental health education and the integration of Islamic values, and (2) high levels of user interaction, assessed through the number of likes, comments, and responses from the admin. Data analysis was conducted systematically using NVivo software for coding and thematic categorization. The findings reveal that @dinamisbiropsikologi consistently applies principles of communication psychology, such as empathy, positive reinforcement, and affirmative language, in delivering educational messages. Islamic values are contextually integrated through direct references to Qur’anic verses and hadiths relevant to mental health themes. Strong user responses to content on self-reflection, anxiety, and stoic principles of tranquility underscore the effectiveness of this approach in building emotional connections and raising awareness of the importance of mental health, both from a general and Islamic perspective. Theoretically, this study enriches the field of communication psychology by presenting a model of integration between psychological principles and religious values in digital media. Practically, it provides insights for psychology practitioners and Islamic media managers to develop more adaptive, empathetic, and spiritually grounded communication strategies in delivering mental health education.
Suci Ramadhani Idris Aritonang Liza Nuarida Ulfah Br. The research approach used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through participatory observation for 2 months. Interviews are conducted with students, Islamic boarding school administrators, and ustadzah. Document data is a data collection technique. Data analysis is done qualitatively through data reduction, presentation, and verification stages. The results of the study show that the application of the participatory ubudiyah management model in this Islamic boarding school can be seen through three real practical steps, namely joint planning through a deliberation forum between students and ustadzah, habituation of worship with a consistent and structured schedule, and collaborative supervision between ustadzah and students. These three steps not only make students an object of education, but also an active subject who plays a role in maintaining the sustainability and quality of ubudiyah, ultimately strengthening the discipline of their worship. Thus, the participatory ubudiyah education model is relevant to improving the quality of student worship and contributes to enhancing religious character education in Islamic boarding schools as an integral part of Islamic religious education.
Ikrimatul Jannah Nurhafid Ishari Syuhud Syuhud Aminatuz Zahroh Copyright (c) 2025 Cendekia 2025-09-28 2025-09-28 17 02 404 418 10.37850/cendekia.v17i02.1119 Eco-Pedagogic Based on Eco-Theology: Strategies for Building Students' Spiritual, Social, and Cognitive Character https://journal.faibillfath.ac.id/index.php/cendekia/article/view/1091
This study examines the strategy of implementing Eco-Pedagogy based on Eco-Theology at Sekolah Alam Insan Rabbani Sungai Penuh to form spiritual, social, and cognitive character. With a qualitative approach to case studies, data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data was analysed by thematic analysis through six stages. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, and analysis of instructional documents. The findings reveal that project-based learning grounded in Islamic principles effectively enhances student engagement, strengthens understanding of scientific concepts, and promotes the development of critical and collaborative thinking skills. Integrating Islamic values into the learning process enables students to perceive science not merely as knowledge, but also as a means of strengthening faith and character. However, major challenges include the absence of a systematic, integrative curriculum and the limited capacity of teachers to implement interdisciplinary approaches. Therefore, this study recommends strong institutional support, continuous professional development programs for teachers, and developing a national curriculum that formally integrates STEAM with Islamic education. This integrative model is considered a strategic approach to shaping a generation of Muslim scientists who are intellectually competent and spiritually grounded from an early stage of education.
Al Ihwanah Muhammad Sirozi Copyright (c) 2025 Cendekia 2025-10-06 2025-10-06 17 02 434 448 10.37850/cendekia.v17i02.1026
