The formulation of the problem of this comprehensive paper consists of: 1). What is the role of teacher professional competence in improving the learning outcomes of Al-Qur'an Hadith Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 Academic Year? 2). What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 Academic Year? 3). </em><em>How are the results of improving the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith students through the role of professional competence of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 Academic <a name="_Toc196580217"></a>Year? This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The object of the research is located at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification.<a name="_Toc196580218"></a> The results of this study indicate that 1) Teachers' professional competence includes: mastering material, conceptual structure, and scientific mindset, mastering competency standards and basic competencies, developing lesson materials, developing their professionalism, utilizing information and communication technology. 2) Supporting factors are a religious environment that has the habit of reciting the Qur'an and is close to religious studies. An oath constitutes a unique linguistic style in which the Creator swears by His own Name or by His creations, such as the sun, time, or the fig tree. The primary problem addressed in this study is why Allah—who is the source of absolute truth—needs to swear an oath, and what profound messages underlie the invocation of created entities within those oaths. The research employs a qualitative methodology with a library research approach, utilizing a descriptive-analytical analysis of both classical and contemporary books of exegesis (tafsir). The findings indicate that Allah’s oaths serve as a form of emphasis to eliminate doubt for the reader regarding the veracity of the message delivered following the oath. Furthermore, there are educational and scientific implications that encourage humanity to engage in deep reflection upon the objects of these oaths. Allah’s oaths also imply the vital importance of educational curricula and instruments. This study aims to analyze the role of students in the Islamic Education study program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Universitas Billfat, in navigating the digitalization of Islamic Education, focusing on their adaptation, innovation, and responsibilities. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews and online questionnaires from students of the Islamic Education study program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Universitas Billfath. The findings indicate that students adapt by utilizing online learning platforms and digital learning resources, and they innovate through the creation of educational content and the utilization of social media for da'wah. Furthermore, students demonstrate a growing awareness of digital ethical responsibilities, including caution in disseminating information and upholding Islamic values. In conclusion, students of the Islamic Education study program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Universitas Billfat, are key agents in the transformation of Islamic Education in the digital age, requiring support from educational institutions through digital literacy training and innovation facilitation.</p> <p><strong>Keyword:</strong> Islamic Education; Digital Era; Student Role; Adaptation; Innovation; Responsibility; Islamic Religious Education; Universitas Billfath.</p> Khubni Maghfirotun Copyright (c) 2026 Rihlah Review: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam 2026-01-03 2026-01-03 4 01 27 37 10.37850/rihlah.v4i01.1203 PENGARUH MEDIA AUDIOVISUAL TERHADAP ENGAGEMENT DAN MINAT BELAJAR PAI DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH https://journal.faibillfath.ac.id/index.php/Rihlah/article/view/1202 <p>This research aims to examine the influence of audiovisual media usage on students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP Simanjaya, particularly among eighth-grade students in the academic year 2024/2025. The learning process in schools demands effective teaching approaches that can increase motivation and student involvement. Audiovisual media, integrating sound and visual elements, are predicted to improve students' attention, enjoyment, and engagement in learning activities. This quantitative study uses questionnaires, observations, and documentation to gather data. A total of 30 students participated as the research population. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics and inferential analysis, including validity tests, reliability, normality, linearity, and simple regression analysis. The results indicate that audiovisual media were used frequently by teachers, reaching 80% in frequency percentage within a week. Students’ learning interest also reached 70% in frequency percentage. Regression analysis shows that audiovisual media have a moderate influence on learning interest, with a determination value of 0.188.
